Parker Kligerman  Speaks On his decision to Retire From Full-Time racing at…

Parker Kligerman has announced his decision to step away from full-time racing at the end of the 2024 NASCAR season. On his podcast,

The Money Lap, Kligerman explained that he will not be returning to Big Machine Racing next year and does not intend to pursue full-time racing opportunities going forward.

After a career spanning more than a decade, with 260 starts across the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Craftsman Truck Series, Kligerman reflected on the challenges of balancing part-time racing and his work in television. His decision comes after months of deliberation, with a pivotal moment during a run in San Francisco in June 2024 when he realized he was ready for the next chapter of his life.

Kligerman noted that his ultimate goal had always been to reach the NASCAR Cup Series, but it became clear that the opportunity would not materialize. Despite this, he remains focused on finishing the 2024 season with Big Machine Racing and fighting for a spot in the Xfinity Series playoffs, where he currently sits 11th in the standings.

While stepping away from full-time racing, Kligerman hinted at continuing his involvement in motorsports, potentially exploring other racing formats or returning to part-time competition, such as participating in the inaugural Craftsman Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park.

Kligerman, who has also built a successful career as a NASCAR analyst, expressed his desire to explore opportunities in television while not completely ruling out future racing endeavors. However, he’s in no rush to define the next steps, preferring to let the future unfold naturally.
