One of the AFC’s classic rivalries is reigniting this Sunday as the Las Vegas Raiders host the Pittsburgh Steelers for Week 6.
The game has been largely defensive so far. The Raiders managed a 7-6 lead, limiting the Steelers to a pair of field goals. However, Justin Fields and the Steelers offense struck back with a touchdown before halftime. Although their two-point conversion attempt failed, Pittsburgh headed into the break with a 12-7 advantage.
A big reason for that score was Steelers star defender T.J. Watt, who set up the offense with excellent field position, thanks to a textbook “Peanut Punch.” Facing 2nd and 7 deep in their own territory, the Raiders ran a toss to rookie Dylan Laube. Unfortunately for Las Vegas, Laube fumbled the ball, and Pittsburgh recovered.
The Steelers took over at the Raiders’ 30-yard line, and six plays later, they found the end zone.
Somewhere, former NFL cornerback Charles Tillman, now with the FBI, is likely smiling.
