Maxx Crosby Furiously Shoves Raiders Linebackers Coach on the Sideline as Tempers flare Following defeat by Steelers

Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby had a notable sideline moment during Sunday’s 32-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he quickly took to social media to downplay the incident.

Crosby was seen pushing Raiders linebackers coach Mike Caldwell as he returned to the sideline. However, he later described the shove as nothing more than a “love push.”

Caldwell, in his first season with the Raiders, was hired by head coach Antonio Pierce in February after spending two years as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defensive coordinator.

In the game, Crosby recorded three tackles and half a sack, while the Raiders’ defense struggled, allowing 183 rushing yards to the Steelers. Najee Harris led Pittsburgh with 106 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and quarterback Justin Fields added 59 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with 145 passing yards.

Crosby has been in the spotlight this season, as the Raiders are in a rebuilding phase and could consider trading key players to acquire future assets. Despite rumors, Crosby made it clear after last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos that he has no desire to leave Las Vegas.

“You know where I want to be,” Crosby told ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez. “You think I want to be anywhere else? No. I got this s–t tatted on my body. I don’t want to go anywhere… it’s just funny. People have a lot to say without knowing what’s really going on.”

While the sideline exchange with Caldwell may raise questions about Crosby’s commitment amid the team’s struggles, his tweet put an end to any speculation.

The Raiders and Crosby will look to bounce back next Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
