The Buffalo Bills scored first against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football when Josh Allen threw a pass to James Cook, who found the end zone for his first touchdown of the night. The Bills made a smart move on fourth down in the red zone to give Cook room to get the ball and cross the goal line. In a tense moment, there was little reaction from Michaels, whose voice barely changed when he called Cook’s punch.
“Go out if the inside of the tenth hole is wide open, James Cook takes it.” Michaels Cook said in his campaign launch.
Michaels’ lack of enthusiasm about the first score of the game did not go unnoticed by NFL fans, who took to social media to criticize his soft decisions at a crucial time.
