The San Francisco 49ers returned to the SAP Performance Facility on Monday after enjoying three days of rest following their 31-13 Thanksgiving win over the Seattle Seahawks.

With the Detroit Lions’ win and loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, the 49ers catapulted themselves into second place in the conference standings and increased their lead in the NFC West.

Another product of the team’s Thursday night game was a mini-goodbye heading into Week 13.

San Francisco got a rare weekend off and another chance to reset for the final push to the postseason.

Some players took the time to take a look at their next opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles, during their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles earned the victory in overtime after rallying from a 10-point halftime deficit.

“It was a good football game,” Brandon Aiyuk said. “I did a few things, so I didn’t watch the whole game.

The second season pretty much ended the game.”

“Don’t think too hard, they played really well and got the win,” receiver Deebo Samuel said.

Other players could get healthy this weekend. Offensive lineman Spencer Burford took advantage of the time off after suffering a knee injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and not practicing all week.

Coach Kyle Shanahan noted that his knee injury wasn’t expected to be a long-term issue, but the quick turnaround kept him from getting the green light to play in Week 12.

Veteran offensive lineman Jon Feliciano is stepped in at right guard in his absence. . Burford participated in warmups Monday before the team’s bonus practice.

Safety George Odum suffered a biceps injury in the second half of Thursday night’s game, which placed him on the injured reserve list Monday.

On a related note, defensive lineman Robert Beal Jr. was activated from IR after missing the first half of the season with a hamstring injury.
