We thought about it; Is the NASCAR VIP experience worth it?

Few things beat the high-speed roar of a NASCAR race. As a longtime fan of Pixar Cars and a new fan of Chase Elliott #9, it was an absolute dream to get up close and personal with the sport, its stars and the stories behind it. Thanks to THOR Industries, I had the amazing opportunity to experience a VIP NASCAR package at Nashville Superspeedway and it was a weekend I won’t soon forget.

NASCAR VIP Experiences include

My VIP NASCAR journey began before I even set foot on the track. THOR Industries took us for a ride in their beautiful Raptor 354, a luxurious fifth wheel toy hauler. It was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities I wanted including air conditioning which was perfect for the 38 degree weather. After unpacking and taking a quick nap, we headed to Nashville Superspeedway for Saturday night’s Xfinity race.

We set the atmosphere in the stands. The energy was electricity. Blink or you’ll miss it. Cars disappear before our eyes. We loved every minute of it, but that day was brutal. With no shade to escape the heat, we got a taste of what the lowest ticket level had to offer. First, it was a fun introduction to the world of NASCAR. As exciting as the Xfinity race was, it was just a preview of the main event, Sunday’s Ally 400 NASCAR Cup Series race.

I arrived early to make the most of the opportunity. First stop? garage. This is where the magic happens, cars are fine tuned and teams make last minute adjustments before the race. We had a chance to walk around the garage and chat with the crew as they worked on the cars, filled the fuel tanks and made sure everything was in order. The level of precision and teamwork required to prepare these cars for competition is incredible and experiencing it up close was surreal.

One of the highlights of the day was attending the drivers meeting. This is an important part of race day where drivers review safety rules and protocols. Think of it as the NASCAR equivalent of a pre-flight safety briefing on an airplane. While we didn’t get to meet and greet or get autographs from our favorite racers, we did get to sit in line behind Christopher Bell driving DeWalt’s #20.

After the drivers’ meeting, it was time for the pre-race festivities. This is where the real tension begins to build. We could walk up to the cars on the street and take selfies next to our favorite cars. I couldn’t resist taking a few photos next to car no. 9 of Chase Elliott, who is a personal favorite. As the driver was introduced to the public, the crowd went wild. Sierra Ferrell’s rendition of the national anthem received a standing ovation thanks to her beautiful singing and the Go Skydive Nashville skydivers jumping with the American flag. We also experienced the 189th flight of the airline airline, the aircraft wing.

After that, the race started with a bang. We had nice seats under a canopy that provided much needed shade. But I spent most of my time on bumpy roads. This is where VIP access really shines. It was truly amazing to be just a few meters away from the pit crew changing tires at lightning speed. I noticed that many members of the pit crew are former professional football players, which makes sense given the strength and speed required to do the job in less than 10 seconds. During the competition, the industry industry rented a US blocking that could be competitive. As a new fan, when I listened to real strategies and solutions, I offered deep ideas about race and group.

Is VIP NASCAR experience worth it?

The answer is yes, even if you’re not a NASCAR fan. Affordability, behind-the-scenes access and up-close encounters with sports stars make for an unforgettable experience. Even first-time visitors will be captivated by the depth and excitement of the VIP package and will never forget it. If you have the opportunity to be a VIP at a NASCAR event, don’t hesitate. Whether it’s your first race or your 100th, our VIP experience takes NASCAR fun to a whole new level. Every ride is different, so if you want access to activities on your bucket list, double check which activities are included in your ticket. Thanks to Thor Industries, I was able to realize this dream at Nashville Superspeedway.
