UAE coach Lalchand Rajput is confident that the team is fit for the one-day cricket Test.

The last time the UAE cricket team played 50+ cricket, a massive historic storm came to their rescue. The national team’s form woes persisted until the start of the new Cricket League Two World Cup schedule earlier this year. In matches played at the Dubai International Stadium, they lost twice to Canada and once to Scotland. They were spared the potential humiliation of a four-match whitewash in March when the government suspended sporting activities and postponed the second match against Scotland because of the approaching storm. The United Arab Emirates return to form for the first time in six months when they play a tri-series between the United States and Namibia in Windhoek. Their campaign begins on Wednesday when they face the United States.

There is no time to be a solo therapist. We also hired new employees. Only 5 of the 11 starters remained in the final of this competition. Tanish Suri, Vriitya Aravind, CP Rizwan, Zuhaib Zubair, Sanchit Sharma and Zahoor Khan are not part of the squad named by UAE. Left-handed batsman Muhammad Jawadullah is back from injury and Muhammad Farooq, Syed Haider and Omid Rahman are all set to make their One Day International debuts.

All three have previously been part of the national team and enjoyed success in the UAE. They were part of the team that advanced to the final of the last Asian Cup in which the national team played. This success speaks volumes for the T20 format, in which the UAE has grown more confident over the years.

Lalchand Rajput, the UAE coach, said he had tried his best to sort out the issues in the longer format over the past six months. “We kept them busy and it was like nothing had happened,” said Rajput, the former India batsman. “That’s something we have to work hard to improve on and we’ve had a lot of [practice] games, 50-plus. “Take the example of bowlers, if you play so many T20s and T10s, bowlers are used to only playing four overs. I only start twice and finish twice and have been doing it for years. “In 50 overs, you have to hit five strikers, two in the middle and three in the legs. When you are batting 45 overs and you have to play with that ‘death’, the physical aspect is very important and the mental aspect is also very important.

“We’ve been working on the bowling in that part of the game and in between we’ve also been working on our fitness and fitness training. That way the workload is taken care of.”The Wanderers of Windhoek, home to the series, have had a string of high-profile wins in the UAE in recent years. They will feel at home here as the A and Women’s teams have also played in recent weeks. Rajput may be the only member of the tour group who is not yet fully familiar with the area. He was named ahead of tough series against Canada and Scotland in Dubai. He will be able to correct the mistakes of this season before the national team wins the next Asian Cup qualifiers and will hope that his presence in the team for the next five months can have a positive impact on the results.

“Within days, I was part of the [CWCL2] series,” Rajput said. “The players didn’t know what I was thinking and there was no communication. It takes time to get to know each other. “Then there was a month between that series and going to Oman. You noticed a difference when we advanced to the Asia Cup. “If you take the time, you can get to know the players and tell them what you think. I had the opportunity to talk about what is required in 50-over cricket as well as T20. “If you prepare well, you can get results. It’s like taking a test. “If you don’t prepare, you won’t do well on the test.”
