Bubba Wallace will continue driving the No. 23 Toyota for 23XI Racing for at least two more seasons, as the team announced on Wednesday.

Wallace, who joined the team as its first driver in 2021, has secured two victories during his tenure. The 30-year-old now has a stable future as he aims to qualify for the playoffs in 2025, after missing the cutoff in 2024.

Despite not making the playoffs, Wallace is enjoying a career-best season, matching his personal records for top-five finishes (five) and top-10 finishes (10) with eight races still remaining in the season.

“Bubba has been a key part of 23XI from the start,” the team shared on social media.

Wallace has helped bring in several new sponsors to NASCAR, including DoorDash, CashApp, Root Insurance, Leidos, Columbia Sportswear, and DraftKings.

Co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan, 23XI Racing plans to field at least two cars in 2025, with a potential third entry that ran part-time in 2024.

The team is one of only two organizations, along with Front Row Motorsports, that have yet to sign the new charter agreement set to begin next season.

Meanwhile, 23XI Racing’s other full-time driver, Tyler Reddick, is competing for the 2024 championship in the No. 45 car, having won the regular-season title and securing two race victories.
