Ty Dillon is replaced. 25 Rackley WAR In Chevy, NASCAR Truck Series, Dawson Sutton takes the spot right away. Dawson Sutton, son of team co-owner Curtis Sutton, will step into Dillon’s shoes after his last Truck Series debut. Despite being just 18 and inexperienced, Sutton has shown promise. His Truck Series experience includes two starts: 28th at North Wilkesboro and 18th at Nashville. Dylan’s #1 performance. The 25 Rackley WAR Chevy has been disappointing this season with just two top-10 finishes. This is in stark contrast to the performance of his predecessor, Matt DiBenedetto. DiBenedetto has seven top-10 finishes, including a win at Talladega in 2022. He then qualified for the playoffs with 12 top-10 finishes (including two third-place finishes) in 20 races.

Dillon will step down as host and remain mentor to Rackley WAR for the remainder of the season. Dillon acknowledged his sudden departure, posting on social media:“Thank you to everyone at Rackley WAR for giving us the opportunity to return to the Truck Series. “I look forward to coaching Dawson for the remainder of this season and am excited to focus on my future plans for this role in 2025.”Rackley WAR co-owner Willie Allen commented on the news in a team press release:“We are very grateful for the work Ty has done as our lead driver this year and appreciate his willingness to help Dawson grow and develop as a young driver for the remainder of the NASCAR Truck Series season. “We look forward to Ty’s valuable input and support as we continue to develop our racing program.”
