The Dallas Cowboys pulled off a dramatic win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, though the game was far from flawless.
Trailing 17–13 on their final drive, Dak Prescott led the Cowboys down the field, finishing with a clutch touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert on fourth-and-goal.
However, the game’s turning point came just before Prescott’s decisive pass. As the Cowboys neared the end zone, Steelers linebacker Elandon Roberts made a stunning play, leaping over the offensive line and forcing a fumble from running back Rico Dowdle at the one-yard line.
In a scramble, Prescott had to dive onto the loose ball to prevent a turnover, sacrificing his body to keep the Cowboys’ hopes alive.
After a failed third-and-goal attempt, Prescott found Tolbert in the front corner of the end zone for the winning score. Tolbert, who had been shaken up on the previous play, was nearly substituted, but with both teams using timeouts, he remained in for the crucial fourth down.
Despite a weather delay and a largely uneventful game, the thrilling finish had fans on edge as the Cowboys secured a 20–17 primetime victory.
