Cowboys’ Dak Prescott’s 5-Word Message To Lions’ Aiden Hutchinson Could Be a Super Bowl  Wakeup Call

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott shared an encouraging message with Lions’ pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson. “I just told him to keep his head up,” Prescott said. “It’s part of the story.”

Prescott, who experienced a similarly devastating injury when he fractured and dislocated his right ankle in Week 5 of the 2020 season, sympathized deeply with Hutchinson. That injury, which left a bone protruding through his skin, sidelined Prescott for the season.

Fast forward to the Lions’ recent 47-9 victory over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, where Hutchinson suffered a broken tibia and fibula after his leg got tangled with a teammate’s while attempting to sack Prescott. Hutchinson is expected to miss the remainder of the season, though a recent update on his rehab offers some hope for a Super Bowl return, should the Lions make it that far.

Prescott’s words of encouragement for Hutchinson resonated with his own personal mantra. “I promise, the way this guy started his career, the person he seems to be, he’ll come back stronger. I know it’s hard to believe right now, but it’s part of his story.”

The Lions placed Hutchinson, who had already racked up 7.5 sacks for the 4-1 team, on injured reserve. While his recovery is expected to take four to six months, there is optimism he could return for the Super Bowl in February if Detroit makes it to the big game. Hutchinson’s elite performance, combined with his determination and support from fellow athletes like Prescott, could fuel a faster recovery, giving the Lions hope for a remarkable comeback.
