Teddy Bridgewater has emerged as a top candidate for head coaching positions. On Saturday, he led his alma mater, the Miami Northwestern Bulls, to a dominant victory in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 3A State Championship, shutting out Jacksonville Raines 41-0.
Following the blowout win, Bridgewater has attracted attention from multiple NFL teams and HBCU football programs, both eager to fill current coaching vacancies.
Bridgewater’s coaching potential is gaining widespread recognition. In a recent social media post, he confirmed receiving offers from two HBCU programs excited about his leadership abilities.
“A new HBCU reached out to interview me today, and a couple of NFL teams have also offered coaching jobs. This is a cool process, no lie,” Bridgewater shared.
The Miami Northwestern Bulls showcased an impressive playoff performance under Bridgewater’s guidance, outscoring opponents 269-12 and recording four shutouts along the way.
