Triple-Double Performance Earns Melbourne Third Mystics Overseas Distinction

CANBERRA, AUS – Melbourne’s standout performances, highlighted by a game-leading triple-double and a dominant double-double, have earned her a third overseas recognition as a Mystics player.

The 2024 Paris bronze medalist delivered an all-around showing in the UC Capitals’ crucial home victory over defending WNBL champions Southside Flyers, 94-79. She recorded 15 points, 10 rebounds (co-leading the team), and 10 assists—topping all players on the court. The much-needed win kept the Capitals’ playoff hopes alive as they battled for the final postseason spot.

However, their season came to a close following a narrow 92-88 road loss to the Sydney Flames. Melbourne still shined, finishing as the team’s second-leading scorer with 28 points on 10-for-19 shooting. She also contributed 10 rebounds, four assists, and a steal in the effort.

Despite the early playoff exit, the Capitals’ captain continues to reign across multiple statistical leaderboards this season. She leads the team in total points (268), points per game (14.9), assists (7.0), and steals (1.8). Additionally, the Opals guard ranks third in total rebounds, an impressive feat for her position.
