Arlington, TX (Feb. 2, 2025) – The Dallas Wings have officially signed free agent forward Myisha Hines-Allen, the team announced today.
A seven-year WNBA veteran, Hines-Allen won a championship with the Washington Mystics in 2019. The 6-foot-1 forward from the University of Louisville spent most of her career with the Mystics before being traded to the Minnesota Lynx midway through the 2024 season.
Hines-Allen played a crucial reserve role in the Lynx’s run to the WNBA Finals last fall. In 2024, she averaged 7.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 49.2% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range.
“We are thrilled to welcome Myisha to Dallas,” said Wings Executive Vice President and General Manager Curt Miller. “She was a top free-agent priority for us, and we targeted her for her versatility, toughness, and veteran leadership. Myisha has proven she can be a facilitating post player while also stretching the floor with her perimeter shooting.”
Originally drafted 19th overall by Washington in 2018, Hines-Allen earned All-WNBA Second Team honors in 2020 after averaging 17.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. She has twice finished in the league’s top 15 in field goal percentage, ranking 15th in 2024.
A native of Montclair, N.J., Hines-Allen is currently playing in China for Heilongjiang. In 25 games, she has posted averages of 23.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
