The WNBA is bringing its biggest weekend back to the Windy City. The league announced that Chicago has been selected to host the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, marking the city’s second time hosting the marquee event.
Set for Saturday, July 25, 2026, the game will take place at the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and one of basketball’s most iconic arenas.
> “The WNBA is thrilled to bring AT&T WNBA All-Star back to Chicago,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. “Together with the Chicago Sky, we look forward to celebrating the game’s brightest stars, engaging fans around the world, and showcasing the energy of one of basketball’s most iconic cities.”
Chicago Sky CEO and President Adam Fox echoed the excitement, emphasizing the city’s basketball heritage and passionate fan base. “We can’t wait to build on the success of the previous All-Star Game and celebrate the explosive growth of the league,” Fox said.
The All-Star celebration will include a multi-day lineup of events across the city, such as:
The 3-Point Contest and Kia WNBA Skills Challenge on Friday, July 24 at Wintrust Arena, home of the Chicago Sky.
WNBA Live, an interactive fan festival featuring player appearances, live performances, fashion, and culture at McCormick Place.
Community impact events across Chicago, including youth engagement programs at the Sky’s new Bedford Park practice facility.
Further details — including ticket sales, full schedules, and fan activities — will be released in the coming months.
With the WNBA’s momentum at an all-time
