Alabama football has announced the date for its second A-Day game under head coach Kalen DeBoer.
The Crimson Tide will hold its annual spring scrimmage on Saturday, April 12, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Specific details, including the game time, have not yet been released by the program.
DeBoer is preparing for his second season leading Alabama after finishing 9-4 in his debut year. The 2024 season included ranked wins over Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, and Missouri but also featured disappointing losses to Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and Michigan, with the season ending in a ReliaQuest Bowl defeat.
Looking ahead to 2025, Alabama will be without three of its four team captains from last season. Quarterback Jalen Milroe, guard Tyler Booker, and safety Malachi Moore have all declared for the NFL Draft.
Milroe, Alabama’s starting quarterback for the past two seasons, leaves a significant vacancy at the position. A-Day will serve as an early look at the next potential starter, with Ty Simpson, Austin Mack, and Keelon Russell competing for the role heading into spring practice.
