Ohio State football has turned its season-ending loss to Michigan into motivation for an incredible postseason run. The Buckeyes stormed through the College Football Playoff, capping it off with a showdown against Notre Dame in the CFP national championship.
Much like Ohio State’s first three playoff games, the title game ended with a double-digit margin. The Buckeyes defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 34-23 on Monday, January 20.
The victory featured a stellar performance from quarterback Will Howard, who completed 17 of 21 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns.
With standout contributions from Quinshon Judkins, Jeremiah Smith, and the entire defense, Ohio State delivered a game worthy of an epic recap.
The Buckeyes dominated throughout the playoffs, defeating the Vols by 25 points, the Ducks by 20, and the Longhorns by 14.
Holding all three of those teams, along with the Fighting Irish, to 23 points or fewer in each game was a remarkable feat. Meanwhile, the offense scored at least 34 points in three of those matchups, providing an abundance of highlights to feature in their recap video.
