Emma Cannon’s WNBA Journey
Cannon, a 6-foot-2 forward, has played 114 regular-season games, including 11 starts, across six WNBA seasons with four teams. She has averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
She began her WNBA career with the Phoenix Mercury in 2017 after playing professionally overseas. Since then, she has suited up for the Las Vegas Aces, Connecticut Sun, and Indiana Fever. Cannon’s most recent WNBA action came last season, when she appeared in five games during her second stint with the Aces.
Anneli Maley’s Rising Career
Maley, a Melbourne, Australia native, started her professional career in 2020 with the Sydney Flames in Australia’s WNBL. She quickly made a name for herself, earning WNBL Most Valuable Player honors in 2022 with the Bendigo Spirit.
That same year, Maley made her WNBA debut with the Chicago Sky, appearing in four games and averaging 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds while shooting 50% from the field.
