So sad Pep Guardiola admit he’s heartbroken by one thing thats happened at Man City of recent
Pep Guardiola is about to enter his ninth Premier League campaign in charge of Manchester City.
After winning a fourth consecutive top-flight title at the end of their previous campaign, the Spaniard then saw his side complete a pre-season tour of America where they played friendly games against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
Following that, City beat Manchester United on penalties in last weekend’s Community Shield final at Wembley Stadium.
Despite the Blues heading into the start of the new league campaign in a positive state, Guardiola has now shared some details on one thing that has happened at the club recently that he hasn’t been pleased to see.

Pep Guardiola addresses Oscar Bobb injury blow
After news emerged that Oscar Bobb had sustained an injury in training that led to him fracturing his leg, Guardiola had this to say on the matter in a recent press conference

He said: “It was in the training session and unfortunately he had a big impact and is injured.
“He will have surgery and hopefully, he will be well and we welcome him back as soon as possible in three, four months.
“We are so sad for him, but not because he was making an incredible pre-season, because that doesn’t matter, when [the] injury is a long time it is a problem and we’re looking forward to seeing him again as soon as possible.
“A good recovery as quick as possible and that’s all.”
Bobb’s injury is a big blow
With Bobb having such a strong pre-season period where he scored two goals and delivered three assists across the four friendly games in America and then delivering a Man of the Match performance against United, which Ian Wright was full of praise for, this injury has been a big blow for him and City.
Therefore, it’s understandable why Guardiola has been so saddened by it ahead of the new league season.
