Manchester United are reportedly contemplating signing Feyenoord star David Hancko this summer, as per the Mirror.
After struggling with their left-back issues last term, the Red Devils are reportedly considering purchasing a new defender to bolster this position before the start of the next season.
Tyrell Malacia was out injured throughout the last season and although he has started training on the grass, he isn’t likely to return to full fitness anytime soon. Additionally, Luke Shaw also struggled with injury problems last term and he has found it difficult to remain fit for a whole campaign in recent years.

Therefore, according to the report by the Mirror, Man Utd have created a shortlist of defenders to address the left-back issue and have identified Hancko as a serious option.
The report further claims that the Feyenoord star isn’t the only option on Ten Hag’s wish-list as Marcus Alonso and Tyrick Mitchell are also on it. The former Chelsea star is currently a free agent after leaving Barcelona, while the Englishman has entered the final year of his current contract so he could also be a feasible option for United.
Hancko to Man Utd
Feyenoord reportedly want a fee of around £30m to sell Hancko and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils eventually opt to secure his signature by splashing the reported fee.

The 26-year-old, standing at 6ft 2in tall, is a left-footed centre-back but is also comfortable playing in the left-back position. He can play out from the back, is efficient in defensive contributions and is also good in the air.
United are seemingly willing to sign a new left-footed defender to support Lisandro Martínez next season as they initially tried to purchase Jarrad Branthwaite this summer.
So, after failing to sign the Everton star, Man Utd may now look to sign Hancko as he would be able to provide cover in two of the positions that they are looking to reinforce.
However, it is going to be interesting to see whether the record Premier League champions eventually manage to secure Hancko’s signature in this transfer window to reinforce the defensive department.

Manchester United have confirmed the extension of their partnership with video game partner Konami.
The collaboration between the club and Konami started in 2019 and is now set to continue well into the foreseeable future.
This development means that Konami will retain multiple commercial rights including player access, media opportunities and the use of official club branding, imagery and recreation in the eFootball series.
United fans will perhaps know Konami best for their famous Pro Evolution Soccer series, which during its time, was widely considered to be the best console-based football game.
In their statement issued earlier on Tuesday, United relayed that Konami have supported the club in its endeavours over the initial five-year partnership period and both parties are excited about what the future holds.
Naoki Morita, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.’s European President, remarked: “It is very exciting to be announcing an extension to such a successful partnership. Manchester United are truly one of the giants of world football, we are proud to have them as part of the eFootball series now and for the next few years thanks to this renewal.”
“To have secured a bright future that will include a multitude of commercial rights and activations is fantastic for Konami and for the eFootball series.”

This move comes less than a week after United and Qualcomm also triggered an extension of their principal shirt partnership.
It was stated that United’s new deal with Qualcomm will run until 2029.

Manchester United’s top target currently, a move for Manuel Ugarte looks far more likely than it did a fortnight ago.
United had stepped back to consider other options, fearing a deal could not be done with Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have now axed Ugarte from their squad, showing their hand, and super-agent Jorge Mendes is attempting to facilitate a deal.

A deal could now be done which is a loan with an obligation to buy, with The Telegraph reporting PSG have even proposed the terms to United.
This move has been making progress over the past 48 hours and United fans are hopeful there could be an agreement before the week has completed.
Facundo Pellistri: Out
Manchester United are set to wave goodbye to Uruguay international winger Facundo Pellistri, who is set to join Panathinaikos.
Greek outlet Sport 24 report Pellistri is set to undergo a medical with the club ahead of his proposed move, and claim he could even be in their squad for their Europa Conference League game this Thursday.
United are set to net between £5-6 million with an extra £1.5 million in add-ons, plus a sell-on clause.
Will Fish: Out
Centre-back Will Fish is another set to clinch a permanent exit from Manchester United shortly.
Fish has agreed a move to Championship side Cardiff City, The MEN claim, with the Red Devils sanctioning a move. BBC Sport report it is expected to be finalised this week.
The Bluebirds have raised funds by selling defender Mark McGuiness to Luton Town for £10 million so funds will not be an issue – although Fish’s exit is unlikely to bring in very much, no amounts have yet been specified.
Maxi Oyedele: Out
Talented Manchester United midfielder Maxi Oyedele is now set to agree a permanent exit from the club.
Poland under-21 international Oyedele is set to sign for Polish side Legia Warsaw, and he is keen on the move, The Mail report.
Expect United to add in a buy-back clause and sell-on fee, to have some input into Oyedele’s future, similar to how the club did with Matej Kovar.
Radek Vitek: Loan
Exciting goalkeeper Radek Vitek is set to leave Manchester United on a loan deal to join Austrian side BW Linz.
This is an opportunity for Vitek to play top flight football for the newly promoted side and should be a great test for the Czech stopper, who demonstrated in pre-season that he has a big future.

Manchester United will face Brighton in their next Premier League game and would ideally like to add another new signing before the fixture.
Reports have heavily linked Man Utd with Manuel Ugarte, who is an unwanted player at PSG and the French club are ready to offload him.
As per today’s printed edition of The Telegraph (news image provided below), the Ligue 1 champions have offered Ugarte on loan to Man Utd with an obligation to make the move permanent after this season.
The renowned British media outlet have mentioned that now, it is expected that the Uruguayan international will finally move to Old Trafford before the closure of the summer transfer window.
However, the 20-time English champions do not want a loan and would prefer to sign him on a permanent basis once and for all.
The Telegraph state Man Utd are prepared to pay £42.7million (50 million euros) to immediately sign Ugarte now but PSG are holding out for a fee of £51million, a sum that they paid Sporting CP to hire his services last summer.
