FRISCO – We have been saying this for years, even as outsiders pleaded for former Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Randy Gregory to get his life in order. Now that he has signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs, only to disappear from the team, we will say it even more vehemently. There is a lot of erroneous screaming regarding Gregory and the Cowboys these days, with fans and the media calling for a reunion. And this is the explanation: Gregory has every motivation to seek toward self-discovery because of his personal troubles.

Disability discrimination is alleged in his complaint against the league. In addition, Gregory has filed two discrimination cases with the Colorado Civil Rights Division, alleging that the NFL violated his rights and seeking damages from the jury. Gregory also claims that the NFL violated the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. All things considered, his former Dallas acquaintances have good reason to be concerned about Randy Gregory—trust me, they are. However, since a reunion is not the kind of support Randy needs, there is no reason for anyone in Dallas to consider
