Undoubtedly, he will smile a little when he signs a contract that guarantees him $100 million. Undoubtedly, CeeDee Lamb was beaming from ear to ear as he strolled through

The Star’s hallways on Tuesday, only a day after accepting one of the largest contracts ever signed by an NFL player who isn’t a quarterback. Nevertheless, Lamb’s $136 million four-year contract extension wasn’t without any challenges. He had to skip the whole Oxnard training camp. Lamb claimed to have called his agent multiple times in an attempt to break the standoff.

About being apart from his teammates, Lamb says, “It wasn’t pleasurable at all.” “I told my agent I was ready to go out there more times than I can count on two hands. I am aware that he grew weary of hearing it. For a considerable amount of time, Lamb and his representative managed to reach an agreement on the arrangement that would change Lamb’s life, which is still becoming clear.

“Quite honestly, it’s still surreal to me,” Lamb stated. “A wonderful occasion. I’m obviously content for my family and myself. I am grateful to the Jones family. Special thanks to my agent for finishing it up. We made it through a lengthy process, but at last we are here. I’m at my house again. I know I’m ready to score some more touchdowns.

Lamb scored 14 points last season—12 receiving and 2 rushing—but the catches and yards were the most significant metrics. He recorded 135 receptions for 1,749 yards, setting team single-season records. Lamb’s next concern is whether he will be prepared for the season when it begins in Cleveland on September 8.

In response to a question regarding his football physique, Lamb said that he has put on 15 pounds via exercise. Obviously, with the pads on, everything will be different,” Lamb remarked.

“However, I may have added fifteen pounds to my weight. I think I’m ready for the rest of it. It will be different, but I’ll be prepared for pushing and shoving.” The Cowboys and their supporters are undoubtedly prepared as well.
