Christopher Bell strongly disagrees with most NASCAR fans.

Christopher Bell spoke about last weekend’s race at Bristol after NASCAR fans boycotted the race. Racer Joe Gibbs scored another milestone on his way to winning the Cup Series Championship at the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. The Bristol Rays ended up getting eliminated in the round of 16 of the playoffs by Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski and Harrison Burton. Additionally, Kyle Larson, who led 462 laps of the 500-lap race, crossed the checkered flag first and earned the top rating. But the fans crushed the action with very limited overtaking and minimal interruptions. One social media user wrote: It was a night of celebration for the ‘Best Driver in the World’ with no tire problems, no laps and no cautions for Cory Lajoie.

But Bell had a different take on the race. “I thought it was a great track, a great race. The third stage saw three wide riders doing about 10 laps in a row. “I love Bristol and I hope they (spectators) will see a great race.”That assessment was not shared by many fans, with one Bristol fan saying: “Based on what I saw for the first time at Bristol last night, I don’t think I’ll be going back until this is sorted.”Another spectator said: “I’ve raced every night since 2017 and have raced a total of nine Bristol races, unfortunately this was my least favorite race overall.

Meanwhile, after witnessing Bristol lose in the play-offs, an unofficial fan account posted a scathing review of the competition under the headline ‘Team 54’. “It’s not a good race when the car that consistently sets the fastest lap times fails the race because it can’t get enough mileage to overtake the car that’s four laps behind,” the account wrote. “That’s what happens to most of the fastest cars in the race. You pass someone and you blow a tire and spend the next 20 laps looking at the cars behind you.”
