The loss of one of his champions has left a billionaire racehorse owner “heartbroken” and “devastated.” One of the largest owners in the US is businessman Mike Repole, who sold his companies that made drinks to Coca-Cola for around £8 billion.
Alongside superstars like Uncle Mo, Forte, and Fierceness—all of whom won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile—he has experienced numerous significant race victories on the track. Uncle Mo was the front-runner in the 2011 Kentucky Derby, but illness hampered his campaign.
The next year, he retired to Ashford Stud in Coolmore, where he became a top sire of first and second crops and earned £100,000 in fees. Nyquist, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, is one of his 56 Group victories.

Coolmore According to America, Uncle Mo was put to death on a veterinarian’s recommendation. “Everyone is still in shock,” Dermot Ryan remarked. Everyone here, especially his personal groom Rene Macias, will miss him terribly.
