In 2025, Kasey Kahne, a former NASCAR driver, will make an explosive comeback to the High Limit Racing series. Kahne has remained a major force in the dirt track racing industry after his final NASCAR Cup Series outing in 2018.
Co-owned by Kyle Larson of NASCAR, the series is establishing itself in the dirt racing market. Kahne will contribute a plethora of success and experience to the upcoming season. In addition to his 18 NASCAR Cup Series triumphs, he has an outstanding record that includes more than 70 career open-wheel victories and a 2000 USAC National Midget Series Championship.
He even achieved the prestigious distinction of being listed as one of the NASCAR 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023. He remained dedicated to dirt track racing and made a substantial contribution as a team owner in 2024 even after completing his NASCAR chapter. Recently, Brad Sweet’s team, Kasey Kahne Racing, celebrated winning the 2024 title.
In future races, Kahne will greatly benefit from the participation of Eric Prutzman, a skilled crew chief with an impressive record of six national sprint car championships. Plans for the 2025 season opener at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where Kahne and his team will take center stage, demonstrate the growing interest in the series.
This event offers a convergence of racing worlds, taking place on the same track as a major NASCAR race. The 71st Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway and the Joker’s Jackpot at Eldora Speedway are just two of the high-profile events scheduled for 2025. Six-figure settlements could result from such incidents.
Additionally, the series’ desire to increase its reach is demonstrated by its incorporation into new circuits in 20 states. High Limit Racing will increase its nationwide footprint by adding new locations in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Kentucky.
