Teen Trailblazers Rewrite History at Northern California’s NASCAR Speedway
Recently, two adolescent girls from the area made history at Roseville’s All American Speedway, which is sanctioned by NASCAR. Both girls won championship crowns in their respective divisions, which was a first for the track in its 70-year existence, according to a press statement.
At the speedway, 14-year-old Kylie Glick of Lincoln, a fourth-generation racer, won the Junior Late Model Championship. She also won the Pro Late Model division’s Rookie of the Year award. Since the track’s dirt oval days in the 1950s, the Glick family has participated, and Kylie is the first woman in her family to continue the racing tradition.
Additionally, Hoosier Racing Tire recently named Glick a 2025 Hoosier Hero, a distinguished national honor that honors young drivers who excel on the track and embody the sport’s future. Glick is joined in the annals of history by Kenna Mitchell, a recent Loomis high school graduate. Both the Pro Late Model Championship and the Super Late Model Championship were won by Mitchell. Earlier in the season, she won the JM Environmental Wild West Super Series title, making her the first female Super Late Model champion at All American Speedway.
