Fans of NASCAR will need to watch out for Brexton, Kyle Busch’s nine-year-old son, in the years to come. Brexton, the son of the two-time Cup Series champion, is already a dirt racer in the Junior wing and last week took home the Golden Driller trophy in the 2025 Tulsa Shootout’s Junior Sprint Division. The ultimate objective, though, seems to be on the roads. Despite having a great father by his side, Busch, 39, says his son wants to make it to NASCAR. Brexton has developed feelings for Kyle Larson. According to Busch, “I feel like we are doing both,” when speaking with Flo Racing. He will excel at anything, and I feel like a combination of the two.
Many men, like as Larson, were raised in the dirt and excel at it; it goes without saying that he excels in NASCAR. I simply believe that anything is possible if we combine a small amount of concrete and dirt at this time.” “And for him, when he turns 16, which path do you wanna go?” Busch went on. “Do you wanna stay in the dirt world and run sprint cars or modified or late models or do you wanna go to NASCAR and right now NASCAR is the end goal, so you gotta have some pavement stuff right now.” Similar to their fathers, Busch’s Brexton and Larson’s son Owen compete against one another at the Junior Sprint of the Tulsa shootout. Owen won one of the races, while Brexton won another after claiming pole position in qualifying.
