Ascot 3.32 trends and statistics for the Clarence House Chase in 2025 On Saturday

On Saturday, Jonbon will take on Energumene at Ascot in what appears to be a humdinger Clarence House Chase. Since the two are among the top contenders for the Cheltenham Festival feature, the race will also act as a teaser for the Champion Chase and is one of the season’s most important minimum-distance horse races.

The Grade 1 team’s small but select field is completed by Boothill and Edwardstone, but Jonbon has repeatedly kicked the two out of the way. In addition, the following section includes a tip based on the big-race statistics and important historical trends from the last ten renewals.

CLARENCE HOUSE CHASE TRENDS FOR 2025

We need to go a bit farther to begin eliminating candidates from the shortlist because all four horses fit a number of 10/10 trends, such as a rating above 156, four or more chase victories, and a prior success at Grade 2 level or above.

AGE: 10/10 were in the seven to ten age range. Since the Clarence House Chase was changed to a conditions event in 2007, Edwardstone and Energumene are trying to become the first 11-year-olds to win the race. LAST TIME OUT: 10/10 had their most recent run between 23 and 56 days ago. With a score of 160, Boothill is the quartet’s lowest ranked member and can therefore be excluded from computations because his most recent appearance came just 22 days ago.

VERDICT OF CLARENCE HOUSE CHASE 2025 TRENDS

Although JONBON, the youngest player in the field at nine years old, checks all the boxes and becomes the trendy pick, it is hardly a unique choice.
