Red Bull will be the main sponsor of Trackhouse Racing for the 2025 season, after its 14-year break from the NASCAR Cup competition. From 2006 to 2011, Team Red Bull, the Austrian conglomerate best known for its energy drink brand, competed in the Cup with its own team, winning two races. It left the championship at the conclusion of 2011 due to inconsistent performance, but it will make a comeback for Trackhouse sporting a Red Bull livery. “Welcoming Red Bull back to NASCAR is an amazing chapter in the history of Trackhouse Racing,” said Justin Marks, the company’s founder and owner. Since Shane van Gisbergen partnered with Red Bull in 2016, the drivers donning the colors are already Red Bull athletes. Before joining NASCAR in 2023, the Kiwi won his first Cup Series race in Chicago and went on to become a three-time Supercars champion. On the same weekend that the 18-year-old won his first race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Watkins Glen, Cup rookie Connor Zilisch signed with Red Bull in 2024. “I’m thrilled for Connor, Shane, and every member of Trackhouse to partner with who I consider to be the greatest motorsport company in the world,” said Marks. “Red Bull joining the Trackhouse Racing family is a great honor for us.”
In addition to sponsoring Zilisch’s #87 Chevrolet during his championship debut at Circuit of the Americas (2 March), Red Bull will livery van Gisbergen’s #88 Chevrolet at five Cup races this year: Las Vegas Motor Speedway (16 March), Sonoma Raceway (13 July), Iowa Speedway (3 August), Daytona International Speedway (23 August), and Kansas Speedway (28 September).
