As he gets ready to face the gauntlet at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for his upcoming race in the INEX Winter Heat Series, Kevin Harvick’s son Keelan posted on social media. During the January–March series, he will be competing in the Pro Division. The 12-year-old got behind the wheel at a young age, following in his father’s racing footsteps. The INEX Series is nothing new to him. In 2024, he also won the title of INEX Young Lions Asphalt National Champion. Keelan has made 49 appearances and has scored 38 points and won 27 races. He consistently drives with consistency, which is noteworthy. Last year, he placed third in the INEX Winter Heat Series and is continuing to race in the series in 2025.
In the midst of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s next round preparations, he recently posted something on social media. Keelan added, “Ready for the next round,” on his X post. He is supported by prominent sponsors, including as Hunt Brothers Pizza, iRacing, and HendrickCars.com. It won’t be a new track for him to race on because he has already won several races at Charlotte. His father Kevin Harvick’s extensive racing background also supports him.
As he gets ready for a big shift, Keelan gives his father, Kevin Harvick, credit. This year, Keelan Harvick is ready to make his Pro Late Models debut. He will be operating the vehicle through a partnership between Rackley W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick Inc. In addition, he and his father will share the seat. The 12-year-old is expected to go through a significant career development stage at this time. He gives his father credit for helping him throughout his career as he gets ready for the big move.
In addition, Keelan stated that he hopes to be among the top 10 in the series’ next events. “[My dad] is really big on being smooth and trying to be consistent,” Keelan stated (As reported by NASCAR). “I’ve really benefited from that”, through my career. I would love to win a lot, but this is brand new competition, and it’s going to be really hard to adapt. If I can consistently get top-five or top-10 finishes, that would be a really good takeaway for me.” Kevin Harvick raced in the Cup Series between 2001 and 2023, collecting 60 wins and one Championship (2014 with Stewart-Haas Racing). He was one of the more consistent drivers on the field.
