Back on Track: Ram’s Comeback to NASCAR Truck Series Slated for 2026

After a lengthy break, Dodge is set to make a return to NASCAR. For more than ten years, the moniker has been deeply embedded in NASCAR culture. Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic claims that Dodge’s comeback is “imminent,” as the company intends to make its first appearance in the Truck Series since 2016. According to sources familiar with the arrangements, Bianchi stated: “NASCAR is evaluating Dodge’s application to field a truck under its ‘Ram’ brand, and an answer is anticipated shortly.” Sources anticipate that the league will eventually authorize Dodge’s return, though there are no assurances. With this change, Dodge would have the chance to improve its operations before maybe advancing to the more prestigious competitions, such as the Cup or Xfinity Series.

Getting Back on Track in a Competitive Environment

For a few years, including the most recent ones, Chevrolet has essentially made all of the decisions, but Dodge’s reputation and history demand that it be considered a potential spoiler. A strong Truck Series performance can significantly boost active participation from both seasoned racing enthusiasts and a new generation of fans. The racing community is eagerly awaiting Dodge’s alleged re-entry, as NASCAR
