NASCAR Cup Series driver Christopher Bell secured his second consecutive victory, prompting a celebratory social media post from his wife, Morgan.
Bell claimed the win at the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), just a week after securing his first 2025 Cup Series victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He triumphed after an intense battle with William Byron, Tyler Reddick, and Kyle Busch, earning his first career win at COTA.
Morgan, who has been married to Bell since 2020, expressed her excitement on Instagram, writing:
“Back to Back!🏁🏁 I still can’t believe it! So incredibly proud of Christopher, the 20 team and all the people back at JGR who build badass racecars! LET’S GO☝”
Bell’s late-race moves secured his 11th career Cup Series victory. He overtook Busch with six laps remaining and led only 16 of the 95 laps. This win marks the first time he has won two consecutive Cup Series races and makes him the first driver since 2018 to claim victory in two of the first three races of the season.
Byron finished second, Reddick third, while Busch fell to fifth place.
Ha! That almost felt like a repeat of last year. Back then, I had the track position. Man, these road course races are always a blast. Whenever Kyle was out front, I was being extra careful. We all remember what happened last year, and I didn’t want a repeat of that. My goal was to make a clean pass. He was doing a great job running his own race, and he was getting off the corners just well enough that I couldn’t get alongside him,” Bell said (via Racing America).
Christopher Bell is now ranked fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings.
Christopher Bell’s wife, Morgan, expressed her excitement after Joe Gibbs Racing secured its first victory of the season in Atlanta.
Bell, now in his fifth full-time season with JGR, had a tough start to the year, finishing 31st in the Daytona 500. However, at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he began the race from 32nd place and only led the final lap, clinching the Ambetter Health 400 win in overtime ahead of Carson Hocevar and Kyle Larson.
Following the victory, Morgan shared her pride on Instagram, posting:
“Atlanta✅ First win of the season✅ Wow I love our team🤍.”
Bell and Morgan were in a relationship for four years before getting engaged in 2018. They tied the knot in February 2020, the same year Bell made his NASCAR Cup Series debut.
Next, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Phoenix for the fourth race on Sunday, March 9. William Byron currently leads the Cup Series standings, followed by Ryan Blaney in second and Tyler Reddick in third.
