The Buffalo Bills are set to elevate two players from their practice squad ahead of their upcoming matchup against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Defensive tackle Branson Deen and wide receiver Tyrell Shavers will join the active roster for the game.
Branson Deen, a rookie defensive tackle, has a notable college career, playing four seasons at Purdue before finishing his collegiate tenure at Miami (FL).
Standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 298 pounds, Deen was signed by the Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2024. This marks his first elevation of the season.
On the offensive side, Tyrell Shavers, a wide receiver in his second season on the Bills practice squad, is also getting promoted.
He concluded his college career at San Diego State, having previously played at Alabama and Mississippi State. Shavers stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 211 pounds, and this will be his first elevation this season as well.
The Bills are scheduled to face the Houston Texans at 1 PM at NRG Stadium, with the game being broadcast on CBS.
