Could the Dallas Cowboys make a significant change following the conclusion of the 2024 NFL regular season?
Dallas currently sits at 5-7 and has endured a season plagued by misfortune. The team’s struggles can largely be attributed to devastating injuries. Dak Prescott is out for the year, and he’s not the only key player sidelined.
The Cowboys have dominated headlines this season as their campaign has unraveled. Despite the adversity, Dallas has shown resilience, winning its last two games to stay in contention. However, could major changes be on the horizon after the season ends?
Legendary New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick remains available, and FOX Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz has floated him as a potential fit for Dallas.
“Dallas is No. 2 on my list,” Schultz said when naming three possible destinations for Belichick. “This is intriguing to me. They’ve won a couple of games in a row, but it’s important to note that Mike McCarthy doesn’t have a contract after this season. If Bill were to go to Dallas, he has a very strong relationship with both Stephen and Jerry Jones.”
Belichick, widely regarded as one of the greatest head coaches in NFL history, is still seeking coaching opportunities. Reports even suggest he recently interviewed for a college job. If the Cowboys’ head coaching position becomes available, Dallas should be at the front of the line for Belichick.
