Second-year running back Jahmyr Gibbs found the end zone once again, extending Detroit’s advantage over Minnesota to 24-9 with a 13-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter.
The Lions’ offensive line, tight ends, and receiver Tim Patrick provided excellent blocking to pave the way for Gibbs’ score.
The touchdown capped a quick six-play, 59-yard drive that lasted just 2:17.
On the previous play, quarterback Jared Goff converted the drive’s only third down with a 12-yard pass to Jameson Williams on third-and-1.
