Aaron Rodgers responds to fans accusing him of throwing a teammate under the bus
Pat McAfee questioned Aaron Rodgers about why he called out wide receiver Mike Williams for his game-sealing interception during the post-game media conference.
Rodgers clarified that he holds himself to the highest standards and expects the same from his teammates. He emphasized that he’s not afraid to be honest about performance.
“I think if you watch my press conferences, I started with myself when I made mistakes,” he said. “You know, I got to play better. That’s the standard for everybody. I was too vertical to the right side, and Mike needed to get to the red line, which would have been a big gain. So I wasn’t calling Mike out for anything other than his responsibility and the details in that play.”
Can the Jets, led by Rodgers, finally make a deep playoff run this season? Or will all these changes still leave them looking like the “same ol’ Jets”?
