Steelers star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick  Suffers Shoulder injury

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick briefly left the team’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders after sustaining a shoulder injury.

The incident occurred when Fitzpatrick made a diving tackle along the Raiders sideline on tight end Harrison Bryant. Following the play, Fitzpatrick was evaluated in the blue medical tent for an extended period.

After the evaluation, Fitzpatrick returned to the sideline in full pads, helmet in hand, and sat with his teammates. Just before halftime, he re-entered the game, though his playing time appeared to be managed carefully, likely on a pitch count due to the injury.

While Fitzpatrick was off the field, the Steelers relied on Terrell Edmunds and DeShon Elliott to fill his role.

Meanwhile, veteran safety Damontae Kazee missed the game due to an ankle injury sustained during pregame warmups against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fitzpatrick, a three-time All-Pro, is a critical component of the Steelers’ defensive strategy. His presence allows the defense to shut down large portions of the field, significantly impacting their ability to control the game.
