Justin Fields passed for 145 yards, rushed for 59 yards, and scored two touchdowns as the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 32-13 on Sunday afternoon.
Najee Harris contributed with 14 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown, while Chris Boswell added four field goals for the Steelers (4-2), who ended a two-game losing streak.
Aidan O’Connell, making his first start of the season, completed 27 of 40 passes for 227 yards, a touchdown, and an interception for the Raiders (2-4).
Alexander Mattison scored a rushing touchdown, and Kristian Wilkerson caught a touchdown pass.
The Raiders led 7-3 at the end of the first quarter after a 3-yard rushing touchdown by Mattison, following Pittsburgh’s opening 52-yard field goal by Boswell. Pittsburgh cut the deficit to 7-6 early in the second quarter with a 49-yard field goal.
The Steelers took control from there. Fields scored a 3-yard rushing touchdown with 34 seconds left in the first half, giving Pittsburgh a 12-7 lead. Boswell added a 37-yard field goal to make it 15-7 in the third quarter.
Harris extended the lead to 22-7 with a 36-yard touchdown run, weaving through defenders before diving into the end zone.
Fields secured his second rushing touchdown of the game with an 8:16 remaining 7-yard sprint, making the score 29-7. The Raiders responded with a 9-yard touchdown pass from O’Connell to Wilkerson, but Boswell closed out the scoring with a 36-yard field goal.
Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, active for the first time this season after recovering from a calf injury, served as the backup to Fields.
