At Phoenix Raceway today, a gathering of regional businesses and community guests celebrated the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs while raising funds for the Fighter Country Foundation.
During the event, it was announced that all grandstand seats for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, November 10, are sold out. This marks the seventh consecutive sellout for a Cup Series event at the track, and the fourth straight sellout for the Cup Series Championship.
“We are incredibly grateful to our fans for their unwavering support,” said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey. “Their passion for NASCAR and our community solidifies Phoenix Raceway as a premier racing destination for the NASCAR Championship Weekend.”
Phoenix Raceway also presented a $100,000 check to the Fighter Country Foundation, which supports the morale and well-being of the military community at Luke Air Force Base.
This donation, the largest in the event’s history, was made during the third annual NASCAR Championship Luncheon. For more details on the Fighter Country Foundation, visit fightercountry.org.
2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 Team Penske Ford Mustang, took part in a fireside chat to discuss his championship win and connection to the Phoenix area.
Other speakers included Rajah Caruth (NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series), Regina Sirvent (NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and NASCAR Mexico Series), and Nathan Lyons (NASCAR Drive for Diversity and Rev Racing Youth Development), who joined NASCAR Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion Brandon Thompson in celebrating 20 years of the Drive for Diversity program.
A limited number of Hillside and Infield General Admission tickets remain for the Cup Series Championship Race, with tickets also selling fast for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, and ARCA Menards Series West championship races on November 8-9.
