Mack Trucks and Richard Childress Racing (RCR) have announced a new long-term collaboration, with Mack being named the “Official Long-Haul Truck of Richard Childress Racing.” This partnership will see Mack provide a fleet of customized Mack Anthem® 70-inch Stand-Up Sleeper trucks specifically tailored to meet the demanding needs of RCR throughout the NASCAR season.
David Galbraith, Vice President of Marketing and Global Brand at Mack Trucks, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, “The Mack Anthem has consistently demonstrated its reliability and quality over the past eight years as the Official Hauler of NASCAR.

Richard Childress Racing, a prominent name in NASCAR with 16 championships and over 200 wins across the sport’s top three series, will now rely on Mack Anthem trucks to transport its race cars, including those driven by current RCR drivers Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Jesse Love, and Austin Hill.
In addition to the transportation services, the partnership provides Mack with opportunities to engage with fans and customers at various race events across the U.S. During the NASCAR season, customers will have the chance to meet NASCAR Cup Series drivers, tour the customized Mack Anthem trucks, and participate in RCR victory lane celebrations.

The Mack Anthem models provided to RCR are engineered for both performance and driver comfort. Each truck features a powerful 13-liter Mack MP 8 engine, delivering 505 horsepower and 1,860 lb.-ft. of torque.
Additionally, the Anthem trucks are equipped with Mack Command Steer, an advanced active steering system. This system, featuring an electric motor integrated into the hydraulic steering, reduces driver effort by up to 85 percent and includes a return-to-zero capability that helps maintain optimal steering control.
Mack’s GuardDog® Connect, a proactive diagnostic and repair planning solution, is another key feature of the Anthem models. This system continuously monitors critical fault codes, helping to prevent unexpected downtime and ensuring that the trucks remain in peak operating condition.
Through this partnership, the Mack Anthem trucks will serve as the backbone of RCR’s transportation operations, reflecting the power, presence, and unmatched highway uptime that Mack is known for.
