BRISTOL, Tenn. — Ty Norris has joined Kaulig Racing as its new chief business officer, a position he recently held at Trackhouse Racing.
In a statement, Kaulig Racing explained that Norris will concentrate on “partnerships and long-term strategy alongside owner Matt Kaulig and team President Chris Rice.”
The team also noted that Norris’ hiring is part of “several major moves Kaulig and Rice are implementing to secure the future direction of its NASCAR Cup Series program for the long term.”
Norris had been with Trackhouse Racing since its inception.
Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are incredibly thankful for the role Ty Norris played in the development and success of Trackhouse Racing. Our future is bright and promising, thanks in part to his contributions. We wish our friend nothing but success.”
Kaulig Racing currently fields two full-time cars in the Cup Series and three full-time cars in the Xfinity Series. AJ Allmendinger, who has been competing full-time in the Xfinity Series, will transition to a full-time Cup Series ride with the team.
