The Indiana Fever have waived guard Grace Berger, the team announced on February 2, 2025. Berger, a standout at Indiana University, was selected as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft. Over two seasons with the Fever, she appeared in 48 games.
During her rookie season in 2023, Berger earned WNBA All-Rookie honors. However, her role diminished in 2024 following the selection of Caitlin Clark as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. In her two seasons with the Fever, Berger averaged 13.3 minutes per game, contributing 4.2 points and 1.9 assists per game over 47 appearances.
At Indiana University, Berger was a four-time First Team All-Big Ten selection, amassing 1,841 points, 573 assists, and 752 rebounds during her collegiate career.
If Berger clears waivers, she will become an unrestricted free agent, eligible to sign with any WNBA team.
