Following the events at Martinsville, a NASCAR driver has been accused of making comments that were inappropriate

Following Sunday’s NASCAR race at Martinsville Speedway, Joey Logano became so enraged that he yelled at a rival Cup Series driver. On Lap 317, Logano’s vehicle collided with Chase Briscoe and slid. You would expect him to blame Briscoe, of course. But he says that by placing Briscoe in a difficult situation, Ross Chastain started the entire disaster. Logano attacked Chastain for his performance at Martinsville after he finished the race last weekend in tenth place. He actually started using derogatory language because he was so furious. “It was just kind of like a pick them off one at a time kind of thing and then Ross just sticking it in a tight spot,” Logano explained. “I was harmed by him on the restart before.

Even Briscoe’s shipping of him is not my fault. He probably put himself in a difficult situation by attempting to ship him. Every week, he simply races like a [expletive], and I continue to pay the price. I’m tired of having to pay the price. Chastain had the opportunity to respond to Logano during his Wednesday afternoon media appearance. Nevertheless, he chose to handle this matter calmly. “What he said has me perplexed. According to NBC Sports, Chastain stated, “I haven’t heard since he got out of the car and had time to cool down and look at it.”

“I don’t think Briscoe was attempting to reach me. Not in my opinion. There was a gap when I first stepped down in front of the 22. That’s what other guys had done to me. To go down in line, that is a very popular tactic. I believe he used that as a chance to strike me more forcefully than necessary. Chastain expressed his disapproval of Logano’s critical remarks. “He has won three times. He is free to say anything he wants, but those comments carry a lot of weight, so it is not liked when he just goes out and calls me names like that.

Not justified, in my opinion. The fact that he would take the sentiments he had from COTA and other races and then take Martinsville and just go out and destroy that is, to be honest, pretty disheartening.” Several times, the 32-year-old Trackhouse Racing driver expressed his disappointment at Logano’s actions. Since the race on Sunday, Chastain and Logano have not spoken to one another directly. Before this weekend’s race at Darlington Raceway, we’ll see if that changes.
