Las Vegas — NASCAR’s officials considered Michael Jordan and his small team of advisors to be a useful resource when contemplating expansion for the premier racing series in the United States, long before the fight over the charter system resulted in the antitrust case currently enveloping the organization. To discuss best practices and other areas that may be improved, they met with Jordan’s right-hand man, Curtis Polk.
