The Cleveland Browns lost 33-17 to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday after being thoroughly outplayed at home. The Dawg Pound was filled with boo-birds as the offensive faltered.

Myles Garrett, an All-Pro defensive end for the Browns, was questioned about the team’s home stadium jeers after the game. “They are free to express their feelings to us. They have the right to boo us if we are not performing well, but they also have the right to applaud us on if we are kicking ass.,” Garrett said. They have the privilege of it.

“They come in, they pay to watch us succeed, and we failed. If we want them to come out and fully support us, we need to do better.

Thus, it is entirely up to us to improve.” Not all of the defense’s play in this game was awful. They only allowed two offensive scores during the game and limited the Cowboys to 265 total yards. The other touchdown for the Cowboys was a punt return of sixty yards.

CeeDee Lamb was largely shut down, only managing five receptions for 65 yards and no touchdowns. Dak Prescott of the Cowboys also had a poor game, completing just 19 of 32 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown.

If the Browns are to win games, their defense will need to improve even more. It will take time to get the Cleveland offense up to par.

This Sunday, the Browns will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
