The Dallas Cowboys return to AT&T Stadium after two consecutive road victories, but they face a tough challenge as they take on the Detroit Lions this Sunday.

The Cowboys have struggled at home this season, losing their first two games at AT&T Stadium after winning 16 straight regular-season contests there. Now, they need to bounce back against a strong Lions team coming off a bye week and looking for revenge after a narrow loss in their last meeting.

Dallas will be up against Detroit’s formidable running back duo, Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. Gibbs has been a standout this season, leading the team in rushing yards and posing a dual threat on the ground and in the air.

Montgomery, on the other hand, brings a bruising, physical running style that has helped the Lions amass 556 rushing yards and eight touchdowns so far.

This will be a significant test for the Cowboys’ defense, which has been hit hard by injuries, including the loss of Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence.

On offense, the Cowboys will need to protect Dak Prescott from Lions pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson, who leads the league in sacks and pressures. Hutchinson has been a disruptive force for opposing quarterbacks all season.

However, the Cowboys can exploit Detroit’s weak pass defense, which ranks near the bottom of the league. CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott had great success against the Lions last season, and they’ll need to replicate that performance to secure a win.

With the Cowboys’ injury woes and the Lions’ well-rounded attack, this will be a critical matchup for Dallas to regain momentum at home.
