Former “MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE” star Frankie Muniz is taking the next step in his racing career by securing a permanent spot in the 2025 NASCAR Truck Series. Muniz drove the No. 10 for Reaume Brothers Racing. The team said it will run a Ford 33. on Tuesday. “I don’t want to say it’s been a long time, but it’s been a dream of mine for a long time,” Muniz told People. “… I always thought I wanted to try NASCAR. I wanted to do it. I grew up watching NASCAR. “I was a fan, but I never thought an opportunity like this would come,” he said.Muniz, 38, competed in two Xfinity Series and two truck races in 2024. His best finish was 29th in a truck race in Kansas on September 27. He is scheduled to compete in Saturday’s truck race in Miami.
“I want people to know that I gave my life for this,” she told People. “You know what i mean? I like it. When I’m not riding a race car, I’m thinking about being in a race car. I’m training and I’m in a simulator in a bridge. … “I will prepare as much as I can,” he said.Muniz has competed at various levels over the past 20 years and will compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, finishing fourth in the season standings after posting one top-5 and 11 top-10s. “We are excited to have Frankie join our team full-time and expand our relationship with Ford Performance,” team owner Josh Rohm said in a statement. “Their support has been invaluable and we believe that with Frankie’s enthusiasm and collective drive this year, we can make significant progress next season.”
