Travis Kelce fired back at Jason Kelce after criticizing Patrick Mahomes’ tackle against the 49ers.

Patrick Mahomes had one of the longest runs of his career against the 49ers last Sunday, rushing down the sideline for a 33-yard gain in the third quarter of a close game. It was a very good run from the vaunted quarterback, but many fans thought he used NFL rules to his advantage and walked away before the 49ers quarterback could continue the run. Jason Kelce seems to agree with the fans and discussed it with his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, on this week’s episode of the New Heights podcast.

Travis Kelce quickly jumped to the QB’s defense and showed his brother why he was wrong. “He had the longest run of his career, a 33-yard run late in the third quarter, honestly, he used his rightness to his advantage,” Jason Kelce said. “Oh no, get out of here.” Travis Kelce said. “Look again, Kareem (Hunt) pushed the guy. Look again, Kareem immediately runs away. He sees [49ers linebacker Dee Winters] 53, pushes him, throws him off balance, and then [49ers DL Kevin Givens] steps in with 90. I try. I want to hear it.

After re-watching the play, Jason Kelce saw what his brother had to say. “Okay, okay, calm down.” Jason Kelce said. “Okay, kick, kick, okay. Sorry! I didn’t see the push.”Travis Kelce added, “I’ve heard everybody say that. Some defenders will definitely take advantage of this. “I think that’s what Pat does when he’s in a crisis, because his legs can’t run anymore. She will not deceive a prudent man. I didn’t see Pat do that. The Chiefs, the NFL’s last undefeated team, host the Raiders on Sunday in Las Vegas.
