The Dallas Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. Well, the ending was kind of cute and you might have thought it would come out again. However, the Cowboys were unable to capitalize on their steals against a team that has possessed them for some time, and the eventual loss was obviously very disappointing.
There seems to be frustration among the Dallas Cowboys players. Immediately following the loss, WFAA confronted Mike Leslie after he entered the locker room. Diggs took offense to Leslie’s tweet (Mike’s) during the game.
This interaction happened just moments after the loss was announced, and Diggs seemed to have a pretty good grasp of what Leslie had tweeted. The tweet in question was again written during the game.
Leslie took to Twitter (the whole situation was ironically very meta) to shed some light on the interaction and share the tweet/question that seemed to upset Diggs.
If you click on the tweet to focus on the one Leslie is quoting, it’s about a huge win by 49ers tight end George Kittle. At the end, you can see Diggs making some sort of tackle attempt.
Diggs clearly sensed that Leslie was questioning what he did or didn’t do in poor taste, but it’s hard to draw anything egregiously offensive from what he wrote in the tweet. Overall, it seems like the team has reached a tipping point and everything is spiraling out of control in the worst possible way.
