NASCAR’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Celebrates Wife Madyson Joye’s 30th with Loving Social Media Post

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Celebrates Wife Madyson Joye’s 30th Birthday with Heartfelt Tribute

NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. recently took to social media to wish his wife, Madyson Joye, a happy 30th birthday. The Kentucky native, who works as a communications manager for the Drivers Advisory Council, received a heartfelt message from her husband along with a series of family photos. Stenhouse expressed his love and excitement for celebrating her milestone, writing on Instagram:

“So long 20s, Happy 30th Birthday to my best friend, wife, and rock of our family. Can’t wait to celebrate you this next week and forever. I love you!!”

The couple, who got engaged in November 2021 during a hike at Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona, tied the knot on October 26, 2022, in Charleston, South Carolina. Their wedding, attended by over 200 guests, including NASCAR drivers, marked the beginning of their life as husband and wife. They also share a one-year-old son, Stetson Steele.

In addition to their personal lives, the two run SJR clothing brand and own Slide Job Ranch, a sprawling 300-acre farm in North Carolina. Their ranch is home to a variety of animals, including five miniature donkeys, 13 miniature longhorns, and a Highland cow named Nessie.

Stenhouse’s Racing Career

Currently competing in his 13th full-time NASCAR Cup Series season, Stenhouse drives the No. 47 Chevrolet ZL1 for Hyak Motorsports (formerly JTG Daugherty Racing). So far in 2024, his best finish has been fifth place at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The Memphis-born driver started his career on dirt tracks before making his NASCAR debut in 2008. Over the years, he has secured eight Xfinity Series wins and four Cup Series victories, including his career-defining 2023 Daytona 500 triumph.

Madyson’s Presence on Social Media

Madyson, who has a background in NASCAR communications, often shares glimpses of her family life on Instagram, where she has over 9,000 followers. Earlier this month, she posted pre-race photos from the Daytona 500, featuring their son, Stetson.

“My favorite photos from Daytona 500 pre-race. So lucky to be Stetson’s mom,” she captioned the post.

She has also opened up about the challenges of social media, revealing that she has faced negativity and hateful messages online. In a previous post, she expressed her love for sharing family moments but acknowledged that the harshness of social media can sometimes be overwhelming.

“Social media has always been fun for me! I love sharing our family and sharing the joy and love and adventures that God has allowed me to experience… But sometimes it gets so dark with hate that I just want to throw in the towel,” she shared.

Madyson, an Ohio State University graduate, previously worked with Richard Childress Racing and Marty Snider & Associates before taking on her current role with the Drivers Advisory Council.
